On 8th January 2017 was the priestly ordination of Dr. Petrus Soreng in Nitya Sahaya Mata Church, Deogarh. He is the second son of Mr Remish Soreng and Mrs. Cicilia Soreng. He was born on 9th February 1987 in the village Bailodihi of Sandhupali mandli of Nitya Sahaya Mata Church, Deogarh. He is the 66th Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Sambalpur and 5th priest of Nitya Sahayamata Church, Deogarh. He was ordained by Most Rev. Dr. Niranjan Sualsingh as a priest on 8th January 2017. On this ocassion there were more than 1000 faithful present to witness the ceremony.
